Dad at 13 years old!

A 16-year-old boy has now come forward with the claim that it is he, not 13-year-old Alfie Patten, who is the real father of 15-year-old Chantelle Steadman’s newborn daughter.

Richard Goodsell, a trainee chef, says he wants a DNA test to prove the paternity of the baby.

He insists he often shared a bed with Chantelle over a period of three months around the time she fell pregnant.

Chantelle and Alfie made headlines this week when they vowed to be good parents to their daughter Maisie.

And the matter does not end with Richard’s claim to be the actual father, for reports even suggest that a third, 14-year-old Tyler Barker also fears that he might have fathered the little girl.

According to the Sun newspaper, Chantelle was sleeping with as many as eight boys around the time the baby was conceived in Eastbourne.

Chantelle claimed she was on the Pill but forgot to take it after a single night of unprotected sex with Alfie, when he was just 12.

Intel! How could you do this! LOL

Intel Corp., the world's biggest computer chip maker, announced plans on Wednesday to close facilities in Malaysia, the Philippines and the United States.

The Santa Clara, California-based company said the moves were expected to affect between 5,000 and 6,000 employees worldwide.
"However, not all employees will leave Intel," the company said in a statement. "Some may be offered positions at other facilities."

Intel said it will close two assembly test facilities in Penang, Malaysia, and one in Cavite, Philippines, in addition to wafer production facilities in Santa Clara and Hillsboro, Oregon.

The closures, Intel said, will take place between now and the end of 2009.
The moves were designed to "align its manufacturing capacity to current market conditions," the company added.

Intel reported last week that the economic slowdown and slumping demand for personal computers sent net profit sharply lower in the fourth quarter of the year
.
It said net profit in the last three months of the year plunged to 234 million dollars, down 90 percent from a year ago.

Intel has also warned that it expects even worse results this quarter than the previous three months, with an expected revenue of seven billion dollars.

Malaysian worker killed in Singapore Zoo tiger

Three rare White Tigers mauled a man to death after he "jumped" into a moat surrounding their enclosure at the Singapore Zoo today as visitors and co-workers watched in horror.

The man was identified as Nordin bin Montong, 32, a Malaysian national who had been a zoo cleaner.

A zoo statement said the "contract worker jumped into the moat at the White Tiger exhibit and was attacked by the three white tigers" at 12.15pm.

"This created a commotion, which attracted the attention of a keeper who was nearby.

Simultaneously, other keepers went to the exhibit to distract the tigers in a bid to rescue the worker," the statement said.

Terrified visitors near the exhibit screamed as they realised that the big cats had attacked Mr Nordin.

The workers managed to separate the fatally wounded Mr Nordin from the tigers, and vets applied first aid until an ambulance arrived at 12.45pm.

Paramedics pronounced the victim dead from injuries mainly to his head and neck.

The Straits Times news website said the dead man started working at the zoo in June. He is believed to have been assigned to clean a separate exhibit on Thursday and was not supposed to be in the tiger enclosure.

The zoo in the statement expressed its heartfelt condolences to the worker's family and said it will 'provide his family with whatever assistance they need during this period.'
Police and the zoo are investigating the incident.

As a precautionary measure, the White Tiger exhibit has been closed temporarily.

Poor guy~ T.T

Merdeka???

On 31/8/2008
It’s our nation independent day but is not so happening. The country has saved 70% of the cost. So, only 30% spend on Merdeka Day which means less promoting, less advertising, etc. I’m gone to Calvin’s open house party and I reached about 2.30pm. The catering service is packing their stuff, so I just grab my food first lo. After that, we went to Calvin house to play poker! xD
Then, we went to centre point to makan Baskin Robin and also MCD.
That’s all for Merdeka Day~ xD

Bye Bye Beijing 2008, and welcome London 2012!

The Beijing Olympics, played out against a background of political intrigue and featuring 16 days of compelling and controversial action, drew to a spectacular close on Sunday.

International Olympic Committee chief Jacques Rogge described the Games as "truly exceptional" in a lavish closing ceremony at the Bird's Nest stadium which culminated in the handing over of the Olympic flag to Boris Johnson, the mayor of London , which will host the 2012 edition.

"Through these Games, the world learned more about China, and China learned more about the world," said Rogge. "These were truly exceptional Games."

The Games saw China depose the United States as the new sports superpower but the final day started with Kenyan Samuel Wanjiru relishing the heat to record an historic first Olympic marathon for the African nation.

Zou Shiming won China's first ever boxing gold and his country's 50th gold of the Games when he claimed the light-flyweight title.

At the end of the 16 days of competition and 302 events, China had 51 gold medals, 15 more than the United States on 36, with Russia winning 23 and Great Britain 19.
It is the first time China has won the gold medal count, although in total medals won the United States has 110 to China's 100.

"More than 40 world records were set, more than 100 Olympic records, and of course we had the two icons of the Games, Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt."

Rogge pointed to heightened environmental awareness, greater enthusiasm for sport among Chinese and the new stadia in Beijing as the legacies for China.

But he skirted around questions regarding China's response on such issues as human rights and Internet access, and diplomatically refused to be drawn into debate about the medals table.

For China, the investment of more than 40 billion dollars on the Games reaped handsome rewards.
They not only topped the gold medal count, but a near flawless organisation meant the controversies that marred the build-up largely slipped into the background.

Phelps, with his unprecedented eight gold medals and seven world records, and Bolt, the fastest man on earth winning three gold medals with three world records, were the headline stories.

At the end of Sunday's ceremony, the Olympic flag was passed to Johnson while London's position as the new host city was marked by Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page dueting with Leona Lewis on 1970s rock classic Whole Lotta Love.
Londoner, and former England football skipper, David Beckham booted a ball off the top of a London bus before the Olympic flame was extinguished.

~TB ROZK THE WORLD!~

A great debate!

On 15/7/2008

9pm to 10pm on tv9
A debate is about reducing price of fuel by Anwar Ibrahim.

It is a great debate between Anwar and a guy ( i forgot his name) who is support the government and Petronas.

Anwar:
Can reduce the price of fuel if the government spend less in other sector and invest in subsidy of oil price.
It can reduce the burden of the citizen.
Can reduce the price – RM0.50

The guy:

If keep on subsidy, it does not follow the law in economy. Every country is doing the same thing. If we don’t increase the price of fuel, the government would be no more money because the price of fuel will increase year by year.

Now it is just cukup cukup makan.
If you want to take advantage on Petronas, they don’t have so much money to support. The price of oil increase every year, so if we keep on subsidy with Petronas held then the petronas profit will getting lower and lower.

In the end, government and Petronas not enough money to support and borrow money? From who??
And Petronas will leak the power and give advantage to others that will buy them.

The information above it is not necessary correct. It is base on my perception on this debate.

*Peace*

Starbucks or Startout??

After the price of fuel has increased, Starbucks proclaim that was closing 600 coffee shops in US.

Gaji tak naik, minyak naik pula~ haha!

Even Starbucks are going to closing 1 by 1, which shop are the next?

Skyrocketing gas prices has making a decline of consumer confidence. They will spend less and try to save money as much as they can.

Price of fuel has gone up, so does the others.
Approximate 5 or 10 percent of others items has increased.

If we all don’t go out and spend some money, how would the economy do?
They might lower the prices, would you agree ? ^^

If suddenly all don’t want to drive, apa jadi the business~~ rugi die lo~ haha
